Weekend Box Office: “Avengers: Endgame” Tops $2 Billion Globally
Avengers: Endgame became the second largest worldwide release of all-time at the box office this weekend, topping $2 billion globally and delivering over $619 million at the domestic box office. The Marvel film reached the milestone by bringing in an additional $145.8 million domestically and nabbing the #1 spot on the box office chart. Meanwhile, The Intruder finished in a very distant second place with $11 million and Long Shot landed in third place by debuting to $10 million. Animated flick UglyDolls took fourth place by premiering to $8.5 million and Captain Marvel rounded out the top five by adding $4.3 million.
