Take the Risk and Run – 5k & 10k Fun Run and Walk

The Take the Risk and Run event is a family fundraiser for the Teach One to Lead One community mentoring program. Teach One to Lead One is dedicated to transforming at-risk kids into responsible citizens through the building of their character based on practical leadership skills and universal ethical principles. Northwest Farmers Fighting Hunger

Every Step Walk

The Annual Every Step Walk is held in honor of Marshall, who was diagnosed with Krabbe Disease in 2010. He and his family are strong advocates for other Leukodystrophy families and Expanded & Universal Newborn Screening programs in Oregon as well as across the world. Marshall saved his baby brothers life where state newborn screening failed. Had Marshall been screened at birth, he would have had a life-saving treatment just as Michael did. It is imperative Oregon screen all babies for all disease when screening is available.
