While we all enjoyed the 4th of July here in the Pacific Northwest, Southern California was Rockin & Rollin and had two (2) major earthquakes 6.4 and a 7.1. That is HUGE, I know I lived through them back in 1994 and that one was registered as a 7.2 in Northridge Ca.  So this is a quick and great reminder for everyone to double check your insurance policies, Do you Have Earthquake Insurance? , this is also a great time to get prepared because we never know what and when one could strike the Pacific Northwest.

  1. Prepare a box for the trunk of your car, something small that includes a couple of bottles of water, a blanket, and battery cables, and some dry can foods Example Tuna, Corn
  2.  Family Plan.. sit with loved ones, go over details in case one strikes, what to do, where to go, who to call. Pack a storage bin with a tent, blankets and some food keep in your garage
  3. Meeting Place for safety, If the big one strikes, there will be limited if any cell service, so make a plan on a local spot to meet family and friends so they can know you are safe.
