Are you ready if the big one hits The Pacific Northwest?
While we all enjoyed the 4th of July here in the Pacific Northwest, Southern California was Rockin & Rollin and had two (2) major earthquakes 6.4 and a 7.1. That is HUGE, I know I lived through them back in 1994 and that one was registered as a 7.2 in Northridge Ca. So this is a quick and great reminder for everyone to double check your insurance policies, Do you Have Earthquake Insurance? , this is also a great time to get prepared because we never know what and when one could strike the Pacific Northwest.
- Prepare a box for the trunk of your car, something small that includes a couple of bottles of water, a blanket, and battery cables, and some dry can foods Example Tuna, Corn
- Family Plan.. sit with loved ones, go over details in case one strikes, what to do, where to go, who to call. Pack a storage bin with a tent, blankets and some food keep in your garage
- Meeting Place for safety, If the big one strikes, there will be limited if any cell service, so make a plan on a local spot to meet family and friends so they can know you are safe.
