Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood to Perform Live Concert on CBS
Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have scheduled an hour-long special concert to run on CBS this Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, Page Six reports. Garth & Trisha Live! will feature the husband and wife country stars live in concert from the same home studio they use to broadcast Brooks’ weekly Facebook Live show, Inside Studio G.
CBS said the inspiration came after they heard that Brooks and Yearwood got 5.2 million fans to watch an at-home concert last Monday. “We’re seeing how big things can be when we all do them as one,” Brooks and Yearwood said in a joint statement, adding that they and CBS “will donate $1 million to charities to be determined, combating the COVID-19 virus.”
Brooks said he plans to take requests for the show and will announce how fans can submit them on Monday.
