ICYDK – Another Strike Today, Red Line Reopening, & More Poo In The Water

Strike, strike-ty, strike, strikes everywhere.  1300 workers at PeaceHealth SW & PeaceHealth St. John walked out on the job this morning, they’ll be out all week.  Living wages, short-staffing, all the normal complaints…  unions are having their moment right now!  It’s the Union Era.

One thing back on the job today is the Red Line to the Airport.  TriMet has finished the station at PDX, there’s now two sets of tracks leading there so the in and out for the MAX is gonna be a little smoother.  More changes coming, but for now, it’s running smooth.  Sorry to Uber & Lyft.

And finally, another story of poo in the local waterways, but it’s not the Willamette this time.  It’s actually quite a bit grosser, it’s in Fanno Creek, which doesn’t have enough water to really process any poo.  So, I know you had your heart set on it, but you gotta cancel your rafting trip in that creek.
