ICYDK – Championship Ducks, Whale Watching, & Cherry Blossoms

Your Pac-12 champions are…  the Oregon Ducks!  They had a must-win game over the weekend against Colorado to secure a spot in March Madness, and now, they are headed to the dance, and they’ll play on Thursday.  The Ducks are so good, they may never lose in the Pac-12 tournament again!  ‘Course, leaving the Pac-12 helps too.

Next week is Spring Whale Watch week along the Oregon Coast, and park rangers from the Oregon State Parks office will be stationed along the 15 best spots at the coast with binoculars and ready to answer questions.  Almost 15,000 gray whales will migrate by in the coming months, so if you do see one, you’re not THAT special.

And finally, the cherry blossoms in Tom McCall Waterfront Park, Gresham’s Main City Park, & the State Capitol Park in Salem are all in full blossom at this point.  Make sure to take some time to head down the nearest one and weave your way through the boyfriends kneeling down and taking pictures of their “influencer girlfriends.”
