ICYDK – Christine Sinclair, Schools Closed, & Lloyd Center Remodel

The Portland Thorns have re-signed Christine Sinclair to one more year with the team.  Remember she is the world’s top goal scorer, men & women, and has played for the Thorns since the beginning.  Sports would not be considered our “thing” here in Portland, but we take any good news we can get.

Weather could be considered our thing though, and this last storm hit us pretty good.  So good, that there are still several roads closed and communities affected.  Markham Elementary & Robert Gray Middle School had such damage that they’ll be closed until mid-February.  The students are so sad about it.

And finally, I’m pretty excited about the plans they have for Lloyd Center.  Everything they say they’re going to do seems pretty awesome, including the news from yesterday…  a possible new venue in town.  It’ll be where Nordstrom was, and will be two stories, a.k.a. a place to watch a show that has parking, ooooooh.
