ICYDK – Duck Madness, Family-Friendly Salem, & Local Jeopardy Champ

Today begins March Madness for the men, and in the final year of the Pac-12, our state is represented as the University of Oregon enters the tournament today, taking on South Carolina at 1:00p.  Of course, you can’t just turn on the TV, because we gotta watch North Carolina for some reason, but find a bar, that’d be more fun anyway.

Salem has just been voted #10 on the top family-friendly travel destinations in the country, thanks to attractions such as Riverfront park, the Children’s Museum, and the Enchanted Forest.  Now, this Yelp saying this, the same place that gives Taco Bell only one-and-a-half stars, so the credibility is a bit sus, but still congratulations to Salem!

And Vancouver gets to brag a little bit today as well, as it has just produced a champion…  on Jeopardy!  Yogesh Raut played Tuesday night on TV, won himself $250,000 and the victory, and now heads to the Jeopardy Masters tournament in May, no doubt spending these couple months cramming his head with more totally useless knowledge.
