ICYDK – Pac-12 Resurgence, Local Volleyball Star, & Rose City ComicCon

Is the Pac-12 dead?  Maybe not yet.  Oregon State & Washington State are aligned in figuring out the next steps, which could possibly be to rebuild the brand.  Or they might not.  The future is uncertain.  What is certain…  they’re playing eachother tomorrow, and they’re both in the Top 25.  We’ll see if they’re still friends after that.

Speaking of Washington sports, congratulations to Ridgefield High School senior, Lizzy Andrew, who was honored with just about the biggest honor an athlete can hope for…  the chance to play for Team USA.  She tried out, she made the team, and they’ve just won gold at the Pan Am Cup…  hopefully next?  The Olympics!

And finally, fun weekend in Portland as the Rose City ComicCon happens at the Convention Center kicks off today!  Celebrities in town include Zoe Saldana & Karen Gillan, Ralph Macchio, Rebecca Romijn, and of course, the most famous…  The Unipiper.  Get your best cosplay going and go join the fun.
