ICYDK – Pickathon’s Return, A Brutal Pothole, & A New In-N-Out

Congratulations to Pickathon, the music festival held each year in Happy Valley as it has just been awarded a 10-year extension on its permit.  The city of Happy Valley was thinking about not renewing it because the land was becoming more valuable, and that it was a bit loud, but…  all good now.  The grumpy neighbors just gonna have to deal.

There’s a pothole that belongs in the Pothole Hall Of Fame over on Cesar Chavez Blvd.  Dozens of tires have been popped in this thing, which has been there since the recent ice storm.  I don’t know if this is one of those stories where I shouldn’t show the pothole because it’ll “embolden” other potholes; that’s a tricky media rule I don’t want to mess up.

So, switching gears, here’s news that should delight SW Washington residents…  you’re getting an In ‘N’ Out, and it’s official.  A lot of times, like in Beaverton, the permit filing is contested, so it’s hard to follow, but not this one.  Right in the Union Ridge Town Center in Ridgefield is where it’ll be…  get ready for…  super mid-to-upper level burgers.
