ICYDK – Portland’s NFL Prospects, Another In-N-Out, & Bowflex Bankruptcy

The NFL Draft begins today, and only one Portland name is likely to be called.  The Ducks will probably have 3 go in the first round, but they’re not local, and in fact aren’t even in Oregon today, but we do hope to hear Kitan Oladapo’s name called, and we’ll rejoice with Central Catholic, which is where the Beaver  went to high school.

Last week, In-N-Out seemed happy with its Ridgefield news, but not no mo.  The Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway location near the Chick-Fil-A is a go, and boom, today, we learn that they’re opening one in the old Rite-Aid building on Mill Plain in East Vancouver.  Luckily, you won’t have to drive all the way out Mill Plain, because Burgerville is like, a mile before it, and is much better anyway.

While Vancouver may be gaining some mid burgers, it’s losing a household name in home workout equipment.  You remember Bowflex?  Everybody remembers BowFlex.  You may not have realized though; that was a Vancouver company.  And I say was, because it’s bankrupt now.  Filed last month, bought out this month; the name may linger, but the company is no more.
