In Case You Didn’t Know – 05-29-2023

Today’s In Case You Didn’t Know is dedicated to the ways you can honor the men and women who served this great country by giving their lives on this Memorial Day.  Lots of services happening this morning, including Willamette National Cemetery at 10:00a, and also in Wilsonville at Town Center park at 10:00.  The State Capitol also has one put on by the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs at 11, one in Beaverton at Veterans Memorial Park, which is kinda hidden in the neighborhoods of Central Beaverton.  One in North Plains at 11:00, and of course, a big one at Fort Vancouver at 11:00 as well.  

Also in the skies above, starting at about 10:45, the 142nd Wing of the Oregon Air National Guard will have F-15s flying over these ceremonies.  10:45 they’ll be over Willamette, then heading south and looping around to the West Side by about 11:00.  At 11:22, down to Silverton, then heading back North to Vancouver at 11:30.  Just listen, you’ll hear them.
