Jon Pardi Talks “Quarantine Life,” Gets Haircut From Fiancée in “Off the Road” Video

Jon Pardi offers fans a look at his life in quarantine in a new video for CMT. Rolling Stone reports that the 11-minute clip finds the “Heartache Medication” crooner getting a haircut from fiancée Summer Duncan (after postponing their May nuptials) and clearing land on his property in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Pardi–who was supposed to tour extensively this year, as well as tie the knot–also gets candid about the things he misses most. “I miss going out somewhere to have a beer and tacos and the little stuff–running into people randomly, you don’t really do that anymore,” Pardi says.

“There’s talk of a whole year not playing concerts. The worst feeling is not knowing when you’re going to get back to work…I planned so much. This was supposed to be the year that I did my own thing. I was on my time, now I’m on quarantine time.” The video was intended to be part of CMT’s “On the Road” touring diaries, but because of the pandemic, they’ve retitled the clips “Off the Road.”
