Luke Combs Covers Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” Debuts New Song on Livestream
On Tuesday night, Luke Combs took to Instagram Live and did a 20-minute acoustic performance full of old favorites and some surprises. The four-song acoustic set started with a cover Tracy Chapman’s 1988 song “Fast Car” and went right into the debut of a new song, “What Do You Do When It Rains?” which he recently penned during a writing session.
Combs, who also performed his hits “When It Rains It Pours” and “Hurricane,” promised this wasn’t the last time he’d be doing these intimate sets: “I’ll do one every week we’re quarantined.”
