New Chairlift Coming For Mt. Hood Meadows

…and that means it’s getting old.
Due to the Mt. Hood Express reaching the end of its expected lifespan, Mt. Hood Meadows has announced that it is to be replaced within the next couple years for a 6-person lift, that will be able to carry 50% more passengers up the mountain per hour.
There are many steps that had to be taken to get approval for this, and many hurdles still yet to come, but the resorts doesn’t expect anything will stop the installation.
