NFL Star Joe Montana Stops Kidnapping Over The Weekend

Former NFL Joe Montana and his wife Jennifer saved their baby granddaughter from being kidnapped over the weekend, according to E! News.

A female intruder entered Montana’s home Saturday and picked up their sleeping 9-month-old granddaughter, who was in a playpen. The Montanas confronted the woman and attempted to de-escalate the situation.

Mrs. Montana was able to take the child from the woman’s arms, and the woman fled. “Deputies patrolling the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station were flagged down in the City of Malibu by a man they recognized as Mr. Joe Montana,” according to a police report. The woman was later arrested and charged with burglary and kidnapping.

No one was injured. Montana talked about the subject Sunday on social media.”Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Scary situation, but thankful that everybody is doing well,” he wrote. “We appreciate respect for our privacy at this time.”
