POLICE: Woman Shoots and Kills Husband During Argument

HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says a woman shot and killed her husband during an argument on Germantown Road Monday afternoon, “She did admit that to our deputies and to 9-1-1. We’re told her husband pointed a gun at her and that’s what prompted the shooting.”

Deputy Brian Van Kleef says the couple was reportedly going through a divorce at the time of the shooting, “Unfortunately, this is the kind of end we hate to see in a domestic violence situation.”

He says the investigation remains active.
