Prayers For Toby Keith

Toby Keith announced on Sunday afternoon that he had been diagnosed with stomach cancer.  Keith revealed his diagnosis occurred in fall 2021 and said he’s undergone chemotherapy and other treatment for cancer in the past six months and says  “So far, so good. I need time to breathe, recover, and relax,” he wrote on Twitter. He assured fans that he would see them “sooner rather than later.”

Music friends of Toby shared their concerns and send notes of prayer yesterday as the news broke

Bret Michale’s front man of Poison wrote, “@tobykeith, my heart, soul & prayers are always with you and your family. My friend, keep your incredible warrior spirit.”

John Rich  of Big & Rich tweeted, “Hang in there @tobykeith,” and friends Thompson Square wrote, “We are sending big love and prayers for healing.”
