Sam Elliott & Lil Nas X Have a Cowboy Dance-Off in Doritos Super Bowl Ad

It’s Sam Elliott like you’ve never seen him before: doing the wave with his mustache! That’s just one of the amazing dance moves the Oscar-nominated actor executes (with a little special-effects help) in Doritos’ new Super Bowl spot co-starring Lil Nas X. The minute-long ad opens with Elliott and Lil Nas looking like they’re about to have a shootout before Elliott says, “Make your move, cowboy.”

That’s when Lil Nas starts busting a move to (what else?) “Old Town Road”–but it turns out the 75-year-old Elliott’s the one with the most impressive choreography. The commercial ends with a surprise cameo from “Old Town Road” collaborator Billy Ray Cyrus, who deadpans, “I ain’t dancin.”
