Sam Hunt Pushes Back Summer Tour as “Southside” Debuts at #1 on Country Albums Chart
Sam Hunt has postponed his Southside summer tour just as his album of the same name debuted at #1 on Billboard‘s Country Albums chart. Taste of Country reports that the trek will now launch on July 10 in Bangor, Maine, and is scheduled to run through October 10 in Atlanta.
Hunt and openers Kip Moore and Travis Denning will also visit such cities as Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Toronto, St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Detroit. As for Hunt’s LP sales, Southside moved 46,000 equivalent units in its first week of release, which was also good enough to earn the #5 spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.
