Someone Stole A Trailer Full Of Meals For Veterans – On Veteran’s Day

There’s a special place in hell for people like this.  Police in Lenexa, Kansas are looking for a thief who stole a trailer filled with meals meant for veterans – on Veteran’s Day, no less. Members of the nonprofit group Friends in Service of Heroes returned from Veteran’s Day celebration to find the 5X8 trailer missing – along with more than 12,000 meals that were to be given out later this month at the Kansas City VA Medical Center and Whiteman Air Force Base.

The nonprofit’s founder, Paul Chapa, called it “a punch in the gut”, asking “Why would someone want to do this?”
