STEM Grants Available To Local Teachers
Vernier Software & Technology in Beaverton is a software company dedicated to creating tools for teachers to give their students hands-on experience with the STEM fields. They’ve been in business since 1981, and are launching a pretty cool initiative.
They will be giving $1,000 to 40 different teachers to buy tools for their students to explore science & technology. They will also be funding 40 additional under-funded schools with the money necessary to visit the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry.
