Suspicious Death Investigation In North Portland
Portland, Ore. – A welfare check in North Portland early this morning, is now a suspicious death investigation. Police now confirming the injured man found on North Mohawk avenue just south of Columbia blvd. around 6:15am today, has died. No word yet on how he died. Detectives say there’s no threat to the public at this time.

The investigation is continuing into this morning’s welfare check incident. The injured victim, an adult male, has died. The cause and/or manner of death is not being announced at this time.
Detectives are arriving on scene and are assisting North Precinct officers.
