“The Git Up” singer Blanco Brown is in intensive care following a head-on car crash in Georgia earlier this week.

MusicRow reports that the 35-year-old was hospitalized Monday night after the collision took place near his home in Atlanta. According to a statement from his BBR Music Group label, Brown “suffered significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he underwent a 12-hour surgery,” with doctors expecting he’ll need further surgeries at some point.
