Thomas Rhett Spreads Holiday Cheer with New Christmas Music
Thomas Rhett is in the holiday spirit with a new original Christmas song and his take on a classic.
Thomas said, “The holidays for us are always our favorite time of year. We start decorating very early, mid-November to be exact. We deck out our lights –we deck out our house with lights and you can basically see our house from space. We love Christmas, we love getting to celebrate the season, watching Christmas movies, baking Christmas cookies…which kind of inspired my first two ever Christmas songs to be released. Christmas in the Country is an original that I wrote with my good buddy Chris Tomlin and The Christmas Song is my wife’s favorite classic Christmas song, so it seemed very fitting to record those two.We got in the studio and recorded both of them and I really hope everybody enjoys them because they make me feel like Christmas is right around the corner.”
