Tim McGraw Shares Mother’s Day Tune, “I Called Mama”

Just in case you’ve forgotten that Mother’s Day is this Sunday, Tim McGraw is here to remind with his sentimental new single, “I Called Mama.” The three-and-a-half-minute tune, which dropped on Friday, debuted with a lyric video containing footage of McGraw as a baby with his mom. Co-written by Lance Miller, Marv Green and Jimmy Yeary, the song celebrates the special bonds moms share with their kids, especially when times are tough. “I think it’s at these very difficult times that music can help and the power of a song can give someone a moment of clarity or comfort, or just a smile,” McGraw said in a statement. “Especially now, when we seem to need it more than ever.”
