Listen to Cassidy’s podcast, Mentally Together, wherever you listen to podcasts (like SpotifyApple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts).

This week, she interviewed Satomi Ishikawa, a first-generation Japanese American from California, now living and working in Tokyo.

She’s a storyteller, community builder, and purpose-driven marketer. She wants to leave the world better than she found it, and I’m so grateful that part of that includes opening up about her own mental health and what she’s experienced as an Asian American.

This episode DOES discuss some  serious topics, including suicide. If you are experiencing some of those feelings yourself, please reach out to a professional for help. You can always reach The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.

Note: The podcast consists of real, raw conversations about mental health, which sometimes includes some swear words (because sometimes that’s just how our brains feel!).
